As part of the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Schoenstatt apostolic movement, Pope Francis has granted a plenary indulgence to anyone visiting a Schoenstatt shrine throughout the world. This includes the Schoenstatt shrine in the Archdiocese of Miami, located at 22800 S.W. 187 Ave., Miami, 33170.
To obtain the plenary indulgence one must have the right attitude to receive this gift. The decree asserts that those asking for the indulgence must be sincerely repented of their sins and be in harmony with the Church. One sacramental confession can gain several plenary indulgences, but instead one communion and one set of prayers for the Pope’s intentions gain only a single plenary indulgence. The three conditions can be met a few days before or after praying or performing the conditions stipulated to gain the indulgence, but it is desirable that Holy Communion and the prayer for the Pope’s intentions take place on the same day.

The plenary indulgence can be gained only once per day |
You may ask for the indulgence for yourself or for someone who is deceased |

Creed | Our Father | Invocation |
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting . Amen. | Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass agains us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. | Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen and Victress of Schoenstatt, pray for us. |
